Christmas Bird

Hello.  Welcome.  This is a re-post of my Rubber Dance DT project.  I made a christmas card.  All the stamps are from Rubber Dance

I have used the colours from the Rubber Dance challenge .  Because we are coming up to the silly season this challenge will run for November and December with the chance to win two prizes

I used the large yew stamp from Pine Fir Yew with Stormy Sky distress ink.

Then I used the small yew stamp to fill in my background.

I cut the background with Colour Block die from Taylored Expressions and mounted the cut blocks on a dark blue base card.  If you don't have the die you could use scissors or a craft knife.  The God Jul (merry christmas) is from Norwegian Christmas embossed with blue embossing powder.

I stamped and embossed the pine branches from Pine Fir Yew and Berry Bird and coloured with distress ink.   I like this, but then I was wondering what it would look like with slightly different colours??

With a red base layer.

With a blue bird and I some Barn Door distress ink.

So three cards for christmas.  Do you have a favourite??

Don't forget! If you want to buy Rubber Dance stamps you can get 15% discount with my code gail2015

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

What a lovely winter window scene you have created, Gail! Love the bright pop of red from the cardinal (the blue's not bad either!). Thanks for the coupon code, Gail. I will check out River Dance!

The first two cards are my favourite ones. I like the way you have divided the background up into different sized squares. Hugs Mrs A.

A super Christmas card Gail, the birds really pop against the background stamping and foliage.

Many thanks for joining us at Stamping Sensations and Penny Black and More challenges.
