Bee Happy

Hello.  Welcome.  Still struggling to find a modicum of the Christmas spirit.  And I don't mean vodka!!  Do you think it would help??   Decided to do a couple more of my Altered Playing Cards a la Claudine.  It's week 13 already.  That's half way and my pack is shaping up nicely.  This week Claudine was all about bees.

I used yellow and brown paint and then stamped with two Kaisercraft stamps, Arty and Graffiti.

The bee was cut from some Authentique patterned paper and the honeycomb strip and the pastel hexagons are MME patterned paper.  I cut letters using dies and I've used Wild Honey and Frayed Burlap distress inks on the ripped edges.

The same yellow paint with some yellow Dylusions ink as well.   I added Frayed Burlap with Memory Box Honeycomb mask and some more of the MME honeycomb paper

I cut some of the pastel hexagons from the MME paper and added some ripped script paper.  I cut a bee from the Authentique paper and the sentiment is a Unity Stamp Co. stamp.

Thanks for your visit.  I still need to do weeks 11 and 12 but if you want to see all my cards so far then just select the Altered Playing Card label in the sidebar.  Hugz

The colorful honeycomb is such a nice contrast to the background! I really this both of these are stunning!

Had a look over your previous posts that I missed--those snowmen should cheer you up and put you in the Christmas spirit-so cute!
