Hello. Welcome. Can you believe it's August?!!! That means that over at Society of Stampaholics Deborah has posted the full reveal for July's CCC. For new visitors that's Card Chain Challenge and basically you make a card, send it and get a card in return. Old fashioned snail mail style. It's truly a blast. Here's the card I sent this month to Dawn in New Zealand.
I used a blue base card with a darker blue mat and then a pale blue layer embossed with Sizzix embossing folder and then tinted with VersaMagic chalk inks. I added three strips of IKEA dotty paper tape. The fish are Inkadinkadoo Cute Fish stamps. I used water effect card, added the fish coloured with sharpies, some gold mirror card cut using Sizzix circle dies and then glossy accents over the top, so it looks like they are looking in through the port holes. Well, that's what I was aiming for anyway. The sentiment is from Do Crafts Green Goddess stamp set. Loved the fish theme this month and was so happy happy with the gorgeous fish shaker card I got from LaVon. Hugs LaVon. Great minds and all that........
Do pop over to Society of Stampaholics for the FULL REVEAL
If you want to join the fun this month, with the added bonus of a chance to win a $12 certificate for A Day For Daisies then here's where you SIGN UP
