Hello. Welcome. Teddy says hi
What's that? That's a rabbit. Could I have got a better photo? Maybe. But he is like a mop on legs. Fast legs!! I was lucky to catch him face on.
Here's another one
This one always looks ready to run as well. I used Docrafts Clocks Tri-boss folder and Chocolate pigment ink to highlight the embossing. I stamped Stampotique's Rabbit on white card, with the same ink, and cut him out. The sentiment stamps are from PaperArtsy and Crafty Individuals. I stood rabbit on some embroidery thread. I added a wonky squiggly line by hand. That's why it's wonky. And squiggly. I wanted a rust colour base card but didn't have so I used a bright orange card and added some DI Barn Door and Walnut Stain. It looks rusty to me.

Leggs
Hello. Welcome. It's blowing a gale out so I'm sitting in my craft room, feeling the draughts and listening to the house groan. Even the bunnies have all gone in. Hope it blows itself out soon. This is a quick post for an item which has jumped the queue. I was working on, uh, two, no, three things this morning when Mr Postie delivered some stamps from Flonzcraft. These are my first stamps from this company and I must admit I am very pleased with the quality and how they stamp. They are a nice firm polymer, so they don't squidge when you apply pressure, and they take ink very well giving a nice solid impression. I couldn't wait to ink this one. I love this fun set.
I've used one of the stamps from Flonzcraft's Zebra Hands and Legs stamped in black archival on my ATC base. I added various pink/red shades of Distress ink and spritzed with water. Then I coloured the legs with a Jelly Pink sharpie. I thought about adding some words, but actually, I like the CAS look.

Pork Scratchings
Hello. Welcome. Did you have a fun world card day yesterday? I hope you managed to get a card or two made. Here's one I've made for the Mixed Media Mojo WCMD challenge. They want Halloween or Fall with a twist of fabric.
I used some net-type fabric which is printed with metallic spider web. I wrapped it around a black card panel and mounted it on a grey pearlescent card base. I stamped DRS's Count Porkula and coloured with sharpies. That pig is so cute! The letters are Basic Grey Alphabet stickers. I changed the colour a bit with an orange sharpie and added clear Wink of Stella. I have also stuck red rhinestones on the web.

We All Need A Friend
Hello. Welcome. Happy World Card Making Day. Hope you are getting some crafty time in. Lots of fun things happening in blogland today. Here's a little whimsical entry for The Craft Barn's Q&L Challenge. This fortnight it was Patience or Better. Well, I've never had much patience so I went with better
I used a quote by Helen Keller
I used a quote by Helen Keller
'Walking with a friend in the dark is better
than walking alone in the light'
Little Hoo Hoo is in total agreement with Helen. Much better to have a friend on a night like this. He's not so sure of the light bit, being a bit more of a night owl.
I stamped Stampotique's Little Hoo Hoo and DRS's Spooky Eyes Background and embossed with white embossing powder. I really need one of those anti-static doo dahs!! It was a nightmare, bwahahahahaha, getting all the excess white powder off the black card. I wrote my quote with my trusty white gelly roll pen and also added a bit of something for Monster to stand on. I mounted the panel on a grey pearlised card base.

Tangled Dreams
Hello. Welcome. Happy World Card Day everyone. Any excuse for a party I say! It's been a funny week. I had plans to do lots and get organised but fun with lightning and visitors and other commitments find me even further from organised than usual. Ah well, worse things happen at sea. Or so they say.
Simon Says Stamp has a super fun colour combo on their Work it Wednesday
post, olive, kahki, burnt orange and dark
chocolate. I used Prima Doll Taylor and I have added some tangle patterns to her skirt, leggings and top. Quite pleased with the flowered top :-) I used a combination of Promarkers and Sharpies for my colours. I cut Cheery Lynn Emperor Swan frame and added lace which I dyed with DI Walnut Stain to a nice kahki. The backing paper is Crate Paper stamped with a Rollerstamp and I used my pens in the middle to burn my orange. Maybe a bit more bright than burnt? Say la doo dah. I ripped the paper, flipped it and added the ripped piece for Taylor to stand on. Light olive? Dark olive base card. Actually I was at the opening of a Greek food shop yesterday and discovered that olives come in many colours. Ed-u-ma-cational and yummy!! Hee hee.
Really liked how the tangles worked on her skirt. That one on the RHS could be really useful for Halloween cards. Not sure about the leggings. Looks a bit like she has some exotic skin complaint!! ROFL

Girls Best Friend
Hello. Welcome. Just wanted to post the card I sent to Lucille as part of September's Card Chain Challenge. If you don't know what this is basically you make a card and sent it to the person above you on the list and the person below you sends you a card. Everyone wins. It's great fun, you get snail mail and the fabulous Deborah has even lined up some sponsors so one lucky CCC friend gets a little bit extra.......
I followed the CCC sketch and all the stamps are from Unity Stamp Co. The background is Stitched Daffodils. The girl and dog are First Love. I added three metallic green brads and the sentiment from the Triple Tree Line set to finish.

If The Ten Of Spades Is Yellow What Colour Is The Two Of Hearts
Hello. Welcome. Our new router arrived today. Hurrah. It didn't work. Boo. Turns out it wasn't only the router but also the phone line got fried by lightning. Luckily the menfolk were handy to fix it up. I'm not sure it's all functioning but I don't care as long as I can get online again. It was very frustrating. I have become so used to 'just checking this or that'. I am sure I could survive without but it is a lot of fun with LOL.
I am playing along with Claudine's Altered Playing Card Challenge. This is such fun and I am sure it's not too late to start. Come on, dig out those old scruffy cards and make them beautiful. Actually I am having almost as much fun looking at what people are doing as doing my own set LOL. I have decided to try and follow Claudine's cards as much as possible. If left to my own devices I am sure I will end up with everything blue and filled with bunnies ROFL. I have also decided NOT to purchase items I don't have but to use alternates in my huge stash. This is of course subjects to change!! Bwahahahahahahahaha.
WEEK 4 Caudine's Week 4 cards and mine........
CARD 5 I used Fresco Finish Rose and Pansy paint, some tissue I stamped myself and then doodled. Ooh, I don't like them doodles
I cut clouds from DCWV paper, also the plane and the sentiment. Covered up that ugly doodle nicely LOL. The 'house' and bird are PaperArtsy stamps coloured with fresco finish paint and glitter glue. I used Stampotiques Rabbit and some DCWV wallpaper. The lower doodle looked like a fence so I added one the other side as well LOL.
CARD 6 Green and yellow acrylic paint with some paper tape at the bottom and a doodled border. I liked that one Claudine.
The girl is a Docrafts embossing folder, coloured with DI and cut out. The words are a favourite sentiment written by me. I did try to outline in white but the gelly roll didn't like the acrylic base!!
I did take pictures of the paired cards, but paired them wrong!! so may add those again later. So much to do to catch up with everything I missed the last few days. Thanks for all your kind comments and support. Back soon with more cards cos it's a new week and Claudine has a new set for out joy and delight. Hugz

This is two for one as I am catching up so here's Claudine's Week 3 cards. And here's mine......
CARD 3
My alcohol ink background using Slate, Ginger, Caramel and Mushroom.
It was too yuk so I added some Bottle to lift the colours. I decided
this looked Autumny so I switched the finishing touches...
Birds, leaves and letters all Sizzix cuts. I added distress inks to the leaves for extra colour.
CARD 4 I used DI Dried Marigold and Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo round the edges. I stamped with Memento London Fog and something blue. Stamps from unknown sources
Sizzix gears and Cheery Lynn steampunk hearts and compass dies.
