Hello Nomad friends. We have had some wild weather today which has laid the garden flat, picked the fruit and berries and left everything decidedly drowned. Crafting seemed the thing to do. I usually check challenges when they are published and sometimes I have ideas!! And then the month whizzes by and my ideas are still just in my head, or more likely floated away to a remote tropical beach. Anyway, the Memory Box Challenge of Animal is right up my alley, and I had an idea, which didn't pan out, but I made a card anyway using the horse part of the original idea.
Oooh look, horsies!! I used the horse from Memory Box Horse and Sleigh die set and cut it four times from four different colour scraps. I found a thin strip of green shaded paper and cut it with Memory Box Gentle Stitched Landscape dies and edged the two pieces with green ink. I used a slimline textured card base and smudged the top part with salty ocean distress ink. I think the rose circle is also an old Memory Box die which I've lost the name of, cut from yellow scraps. The Happy Birthday chippy sentiment is Memory Box as well.
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz

Me love horsies - therefore I love this card which is full of them!
Glad one of your plans worked out. Sorry to hear about the naughty weather.
Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse shortly. xxx
Beautiful scene , I like how you did the sky! So glad you joined us at Allsorts challenge!
This is a lovely scene with the horses. Thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts.
We're a horsey family as you know so this is right up my street and what a great idea using just the horses from the die set. Perfect for our Allsorts Animals theme, many thanks for joining us.

Super card Gail and I love the idea of using the horse from your horse and sleigh set! Clever move!
