Hello Nomad friends. It's the Year of the Snake and I am sorry if you don't like them. My mum is ophidiophobic. I remember the day I tossed a shoelace onto the kitchen floor and she followed with a kilo of salt!!!! Sorry mum!! I think snakes are rather beautiful and curiously mesmerising and I couldn't resist these lovely papers from Alchemy of Art for their magical images.
I did a stripey, sparkly distress ink watercolour wash and then stamped Hero Arts Word Pop with the same ink for my background panel.
I cut the arch and snake from Alchemy of Art Legends of the Magic School and used the same watercolour to edge the arch die cut to blend it in. I stamped the happy birthday from Hero Arts Koi Bunch stamp set and grunged the whole thing up a bit with some more of the salty ocean distress ink. Perfect for an snake loving friend, and I do have a few of those......
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz

Not a snake fan but this one looks friendly. Your background is great with your image. Glad you joined us at Allsorts challenge!
I'm with your Mum...keep the snakes away from me! That said it's a lovely image! Thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge.
Wow! Your snake image is so cool! I like how you incorporated it into your card. Thanks for playing along with us again at the Lunar New Year Challenge. We can’t wait to see what you create for August.
