Butter Humbugs

Hello.  Welcome.  Addicted to CAS have the cue word Sweets and I had an idea to use the Winnie and Walter Peppermint Zone mini stamp and make some mints.

I cut some circles of cream paper using a Sizzix die and stamped with the Peppermint Zone stamp and something Espresso distress ink.  Then I had a little think about how to present my sweets.  I rattled through the embossing folders and found this one from Sizzix called Medallion.  I die cut a pale blue card circle, embossed it and used Aegean Sea and Midnight something chalk inks to highlight the texture.  I cut off the top and the bottom of the circle, edged it all with the dark blue chalk and returned the bottom piece upside down to act as a foot for my sweet bowl.  I used a silver card base, stamped and embossed the Lawn Fawn sentiment and added my sweet bowl, slightly off the edge so as not to crowd my sentiment.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz
