Hello. Welcome. I made a cute summer scene using DRS Jumbo and the Gang and the beyond borders tutorial at MFP.
I was colouring my image in traditional colours with sharpies. Then suddenly the elephant is blue and the monkey went a little pink. Maybe monkey has had too much sun!!
I used a Impression Obsession Landscape die to cut my curve after trimming around my animals. Then I added some stitch detail with my craft knife. I used a distress ink wash and the sun is a Sizzix die.
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz

Is blue the new pink for elephants? Great fun image!
I had to laugh at your sunburned monkey, Gail! It seems to me that elephants were once grey, then pink, and now blue. I am thinking that I like this progression--in color if not in elephants! This is really a fun project, and I like it a lot!
I love that pink monkey! I think it is really the giraffe who is sunburned! Anyway, your card is adorable! Thanks for joining us at Scrapy Land Challenges!
Fabulous card and just so much fun! Thank you so much for sharing and for playing along with us over on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog... :)
It doesn't matter that the monkey turned pink and the ellie blue, this is super sweet and such a fun childish design. Love how you colored the ground and the layout really appeals to me.
What a lovely summer-card! Great coloring! Thank you for joining us at Scrappelyst!
Awwwww - these guys are just so fun! Sunburnt monkey must have taken a tropical vacation and forgot to wear skin protection! :) Thanks for playing along at STAMPlorations!
