Hello. Welcome. I wanted to try this weeks challenge over at MFP where they want us to try a tie-dye technique. So I grabbed some watercolour paper and some distress inks and gave it a go. To say I was unimpressed is an understatement. So I chucked it in the corner and went and did something else. But when I came back to it it seemed to have become something interesting. Maybe it needed drying time. Anyway, here it is
A little bit wild. Looks like peacock feathers in a sea of pink.
Gail....this turned out just amazing!!! Love that DI has a mind of its own and will continue to play even when no one is watching!! Totally LOVE the peacock feather effect you got....much better description than fried eggs. LOL!!! (Sam I am says: "Would you like psychedelic eggs and ham????")
Your ATC is wonderful. The soft background colors look almost impressionistic the way you have it trimmed...instead of like the awesome peacock feathers. And you still have some of the background to play with later!!! Yay!
Sorry I haven't been over here to say hello for so long. Hope your summer is going well and your chickens are laying like crazy...but not psych colored eggs! Ha. I get greenish-blue ones from my Araucanas. :) <3 J
