R is for Rabbit

To enter my giveaway go here

Hello.  Welcome.  Well, of course it is.  Here's my R Altered Playing card for the Craft Barn Alpha Dictionary challenge.  I went with rabbit

Rabbit n. burrowing animal with long ears and a short furry tail.  Can't see this guy doing much burrowing.

I started by adding Mermaid Lagoon distress to my playing card, then swiping it off again in places.  I cut Cheery Lynn English Tea Party doily three times from blue card.  More Mermaid Lagoon.

I stamped, embossed and fussy cut the rabbit.  I coloured with sharpies, added the dictionary definition and a piece of brown Bazzill for him to stand on.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

  1. Oh Gail, your adorable rabbit had me smiling. Yep, I don't think this cutie will do much burrowing, but may pass out a few colored eggs. I really like this.

  3. Oh, Gail, what an absolutely delightful rabbit! All dressed up in his Easter finery, too! Quite clever to using a playing card as your substrate. I also love the texture created by your small doilies! Super fun project, my friend!
