It's Like Snail Mail Only Slower

Hello.  Welcome.  Life is busy and the crafting seems to have taken a bit of a back seat.  Then today, rain stopped play, or work in my case, so I am trying to catch up a little.  Since Chris, hi Chris, has received my card for this months CCC I thought I'd share it with you.

I used a raspberry base, added a layer I coloured with brusho's and then a layer of MME patterned paper I had die cut with YNS Stitching Holes die.  I decided to go with the sketch and the colours but it ended up a bit of a rainbow so I'll just claim the sketch LOL.  I cut some MME patterned paper with a sizzix die and edged them with Salty Ocean distress ink.  The Memory Box music die cut is a gift from Darnell.  Hi Darnell, thanks for the lovely die cuts.  I stamped Stamplorations large Oriole on neon card, embossed and fussy cut.  Then I arranged him so he was perching on the paper strips.  The hello is cut using sizzix alphabet dies and a few sequins to finish.

Thanks for dropping by.  If you would like to sign up for August CCC the link is still open HERE.  If you would like to send a card to a new friend somewhere on planet earth and receive one in return then check out that link.  Oh, and we have a sponsor so one lucky participant will also have the chance to win a lovely prize.  Personally I'm in it for the snail mail, but it is nice to have that little extra bit of excitement.  Hugz

What an awesome card, Gail! That bird just makes me happy! Your sequins, die cuts, and patterned papers just finish this one off beautifully! Great job :)

Shame we don't get colourful birds like that around here, they would certainly cheer up a dull day! TFS at STAMPlorations. :)
