Grusome Twosome

Hello.  Welcome.  I am often challenged by time.  My nan is 91 and often doesn't know what day of the week it is.  I don't hold that against anybody since I am really divorced from the generally accepted timeline.  I rarely know what day it is, without giving it some serious thought.  I gave up wearing a watch years ago because I got tired of saying sorry for being late.  Time zones are just something that's happening and I take a guess.  Midnight?  Midday?  Ah, whats a few hours between friends?  Not much, as long as you don't miss the party!  So humble pie, cos these were for you Kay, but I got myself all ticked tocked and twisted.  Hugs

These did start our square but there was too much *space* so I decided to use the Taylored Expressions Tag Stacklets 1 dies to cut my cards.   The largest die gives a tag shape approximately 8 x 13cm, so a good size for a notelet.  I stamped Stampotique's Little Hoo Hoo, masked and stamped over with Hero Arts Word Pops background.  Then I used Tando Creative Ink Splatters stencil and Dreamweaver's Matte Yellow Embossing Paste.

Wanted a bit more colour so I added some red acrylic paint to the yellow embossing paste and tried again.  That pops!  Little Hoo Hoo was levitating a bit so I masked with tape and some ripped paper, to give an uneven lower edge, and smeared on some of the embossing paste with my finger.  Glad I had saved that little bit of coloured paste.

Inked around the edges and what a lovely pair!!   Thinking of making a set of these.  They are so cute and you know the jolly fat man isn't too far away now.  Time to be thinking about getting a few projects in hand.

Gail, these are absolutely adorable! I don't have (but love) Little Hoo Hoo and you have used him here perfectly. Love both, but I am partial to that lemon yellow. I couldn't figure out how you grounded him, so glad you 'splained that to me! I don't care if you made the deadline or not, you have a winner here and are definitely a DT Favorite!!
