Making The Simple Complicated

Hello.  Welcome.  The weatherman got it right!  We are melting.  Me and my furry friends.  Gotta feel sorry for the fur balls.  It's just too hot to be a bunny.  Even in the shade.  What really gets me is one throws itself down, flat out, and the others come and lay right on top so you end up with a pile of rabbits.  I keep expecting the one underneath to try and escape or die of heat stroke but it hasn't happened yet.  Bunnies do it together.

It's time to check out the inspiration from PaperArtsy and this week Joanne Wardle made a balck and kraft CAS card.  Love it!  Mine?  Not so CAS.........

So working with a black base card and a kraft panel I used my most favouritest Cheery Lynn border die, Tiny Bubbles Border.  Then I stuck the kraft panel and the die cut onto the black base card.  Nice

I stamped flowers and stems using PaperArtsy JM34 and ELB04 using black archival ink and fussy cut.  I love this kraft paper.  Look at that lovely black.  It stamps so perfectly.   The sentiment is from STAMPlorations Subway Art Builders Create set.  And because I had abandoned the idea of CAS and single layers I decided to use a clear Wink of Stella all over my flowers.  Love the black and tan.....
