Red Cardinal Birthday

Hello.  Welcome.  Not quite midnight crafting but posting on the limit again........  Having fun making a birthday card for my Grandmother who will be 91 in May.  Way to go Nan......

My card base is white hammered card.  I used Cheery Lynn Celtic Fire Oval Frame die to cut the aperture which I backed with pink paper from Do Crafts Pampered Pets papers.  I used the same die to cut the frame from a blue sheet of paper in the Pampered Pets pack.   I used the same paper and Cheery Lynn Ship's Compass die.  I cut the compass into quarters and used them as corners.  The Cardinal is a Stamps Happen Inc. stamp called Cardinal which I coloured with promarkers and fussy cut.  The sentiment is a pre-printed one I got in a paper pack.

    Iona, this is adorable and I love how you used the compass for corner adornment. That birdie is too sweet and perfectly framed with the Celtic Fire Oval. Good luck and thanks for joining in on the fun at Cheery Lynn Designs challenge.
