Happy Wednesday

Hello.  Welcome.  Another quick post.  Over at Joan's Garden the recipe this week is black and white, a frame and Christmas.  I thought I could attempt this with my limited stash.  The result is a bit unusual but I kind of like it.  Maybe not a card for everyone.  Definitely not traditional colours.  It's growing on me.

I started with a white card.  Embossed with Sizzix Tall Pines embossing folder and highlighted the whole with black ink.  Then I added a wooden frame which I coloured black with the white Merry Christmas sentiment.   Monochrome and moody.  What do you think??

Hi, Gail! I absolutely love non-traditional and the unexpected, so I would buy a box of these cards! Love those tall pines!

Oh, I think it's wonderful... so atmospheric. The smoky background is like swirling fog, and the trees loom up at you beautifully - love it! I just popped over to say thank you so much for your lovely words on my PaperArtsy creations earlier this month - so much appreciated. Sorry it's taken me so long to catch up!
