Hello. Welcome. Not quite midnight crafting but posting on the limit again........ Having fun making a birthday card for my Grandmother who will be 91 in May. Way to go Nan......
My card base is white hammered card. I used Cheery Lynn Celtic Fire Oval Frame die to cut the aperture which I backed with pink paper from Do Crafts Pampered Pets papers. I used the same die to cut the frame from a blue sheet of paper in the Pampered Pets pack. I used the same paper and Cheery Lynn Ship's Compass die. I cut the compass into quarters and used them as corners. The Cardinal is a Stamps Happen Inc. stamp called Cardinal which I coloured with promarkers and fussy cut. The sentiment is a pre-printed one I got in a paper pack.
Isn't he cute??

Like a Crafter Possesed
Hello. Welcome. Someone turned the rain on again so I feel no guilt if I spend the day crafting away. Do you ever read a good book and when you put it down you feel like you are waking up? That's what's happened with this card! I picked some stamps I wanted to use and after some intense concentration and fussy cutting discovered that the stamps I was going to use lay un-inked and this Pandoro Girl from the Spring Girls set had appeared instead!! It's all a bit surreal, but I like the finished project so happy dancing all the way........
I used PaperArtsy JOFY stamp JM34 and stamped with DI Barn Door, Festive Berries and Worn Lipstick. I spritzed, too much! too much! and dabbed frantically at the sloppy result and quite like the faded flowers/tinted background effect. The girl is, as mentioned, from Panduro's Spring Girl set coloured with promarkers. The sentiment is PaperArtsy from their Bllom set. I added a couple of pieces of pink organza and some pink ric rak.

Casing CAS
Hello. Welcome. Over at PaperArtsy Joanne is back with a CAS style card. Jo always makes it look so easy and for a change this is my first attempt, so that's a definite plus. Usually it takes me a few goes because there's not enough, or more likely, too much ink somewhere I didn't want it.
I say my style is simple, not CAS, so the urge to ink the edges and add a large block of London Bus is almost overwhelming. Resist. Resist. Have some chocolate. Resist. My stamps are all PaperArtsy. SIDD5, the swirl and the sentiment, and then the long fringe is from EDY06. I've used Fresco Finish Pansy and Rose and also added some gold dots using a Pilot gold marker.

In Stitches
Hello. Welcome. Another sunny day. Another frosty night. Maybe the weather is like life. One minute up, the next down. Say la doo dah.
I decided to go black and white. Can't really call it colouring since I just added some black promarker to my stamped image. This is Pretty Hat from The Greeting Farm. I've stitched a button to her hat. My layers are all handmade paper. The first black layer is actually two, although that doesn't show in the picture. You can see the texture on the top layer. I stitched them together using Scary Monster, aka my sewing machine, with a fancy stitch. Looks like what you get on a heart monitor to prove you are still with the living. I used a piece of white organza and a narrow white ribbon across the card and the sentiment is a Kort og Godt stamp.

Penguin Dreams
Hello. Welcome. Here's a bit of a whimsical project because there have been a few things to laugh about today and this is just something else, which I hope brings a little smile.
I started with a previously made background which used Fresco Finish paints Pansy amd Limelight and a flower stencil. I cut Crafty Individuals Starry Frame from card I brayered with orange acrylic and gold wallpaper and paper pieced them. The Penguins are a Crafty Individuals stamp stamped with VersaMagic chalk inks. I cut and paper pieced Memory Box Pepita border and also added a piece of the negative starry frame cut at the top. My penguins are on a button beach and the sentiment is a favourite of mine from Crafty Individuals.

Red Clover Fairy
Hello. Welcome. Sunny days, cold nights. Lots of garden time equal less craft time. Over at Wicked Wednesday Jenn wants to see flower fairies. Now must admit I'm not really a fairy person but I remember I had once bought, and I am fairly certain never inked, a flower fairy stamp. It was probably a moment of madness or, more likely, a bargain!! How can you afford not to buy?? Well, despite the years between purchase and use she at last got to taste the ink.
Then I stamped the image onto white card and fussy cut the top part. I used Wink of Stella clear for the fairy and bee wings. I coloured her with Rose Pink, Ruby and Henna promarkers and used Colourbox chalk for her face, arms and legs. I started with the wrong shade on her face and arms which is why they are a bit darker. Say La Doo Dah. Then I decided to leave the rest uncoloured. Maybe I will colour it at a later time but I think it's quite nice as is. What do you think??

I found this ATC already cut in my ATC box. I think, although I'm not sure, that it is from a sheet of Basic Grey paper. I inked the edges with DI Salty Ocean and then stamped the bottom of Inca Stamp The Red Clover Fairy. I coloured with Lime Green and Rose Pink promarkers. Love how these are transluscent and there are no worries about covering up the stamped image and also the background colours and patterns come through.

How Many Cat's Eyes in a Mile?
Hello. Welcome. It's a glorious sunny day. Hurrah. I have been doing some gardening but just had to come in and finish off this tag I started yesterday inspired by Brenda's extended tag.
I started by cutting down a tag that came as packaging with one of my Prima doll stamps. These have sepia coloured text on them. I added some crumpled tissue paper and then white paint through a Prima stencil. Not much of the text left showing at this point.
I decided it looked a bit bland so I used stamps from PaperArtsy EDY06. I stamped the circles in Memento London Fog and the leaves in DI Pine Needles. I also went around the edge of the tag with the Pine Needles ink.
I didn't have a flower I liked so went with the tree and the cat from EDY06. Love these stamps. I did some faux watercolour with DI and then stamped with archival and fussy cut. I've used Wink of Stella on the circles and then glossy accents. I masked the tree trunk and stamped with the book script stamp from PaperArtsy. I've also used Wink of Stella on the cat.
I mounted my tag on some Crate Paper, added a Hero Arts sentiment, some Prima flowers and buttons. Couldn't resist making another Prima flower butterfly. Check out Darcy's post for details.
