Hello Nomad friends.  I made a thing.  Not the thing I should have been making, but there you go.  

I used Stamperia Capture the Moment steampunkty guy.  The Vacation is sizzix Holiday words die and the spades are cut and emboss, but seem to have lost all their definition in my photo!

Christmas Fox

Hello Nomad friends.  I am having a bit of a crafty moment.  Let's hope it lasts all weekend LOL.  My first Xmas card of the month.  I do like to try and make a few every month and I am very grateful to the Christmas all year round challenges that help us on our way.

This cute Woodware Foxy Christmas stamp has been kicking around on my desk for ages.  Isn't he adorbs!!!   The desk also yielded some useful scraps, including this painty die cut tree line!   So glad to finally get that used.  

A nibbled circle!!??, the painty trees, and a scrap of green off of scrap mountain.  Hurrah!!

Sympathy

Hello Nomad friends.  It's time for one of those difficult cards.  Always a good idea to have some of these on hand.  Keeping it clean and simple with muted colours using this lovely Memory Box Leafy Tree Frame.

I used a small piece of white bazzill to cut the tree panel and some more scraps for the Poppystamps Orchard Leaves leaf and Memory Box Palace Oval Frame sentiment oval.  I cut the larger frame from a scrap of cream card.  The base card is

Lucky Lanterns

Hello Nomad friends.  From new stash to old!   Nice to revisit those things that were former must haves.  I loved this Simon Says Stamp Luminary Circles when I bought it and I stumbled across it today and decided it was still a stunner.  I've cut it three times into the red cardstock to give me my circle background.  

I backed it with a piece of patterned glitter card, that reminded me of bamboo, and then added some Hero Arts lanterns, stamped on gold mirror card, gold embossed and fussy cut.   I stamped a simple good luck from Lost Coast Designs

Lunar New Year Challenge June 2025

Relax

Hello Nomad friends.  Motivation seems to be on holiday this month, but I always work well to a deadline so hoping for a flurry of creativity as the month draws to a close.  New stash always makes Mr Mojo sit up and take notice and I managed to grab this lovely Carabelle Studios stamp of a girl on the beach and it seemed a good place to start.

Managed to use lots of scraps for the sea, circles and bits I stamped the girl on.  The embossing folder is sizzix.

Thought I'd use the last two stamps on the inside and continued the circle theme.

Only Sometimes

Hello Nomad friends.  I'm over at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity today with some inspiration for the colour challenge.   Have you seen all the wonderful colour inspiration on the blog this month??  Two beautiful colour schemes to choose from and today I went with Terracotta and Turquoise.

I started with a pale turquoise patterned card panel and randomly stamped Lost Coast Designs large circle Shadow Frame with salty ocean distress ink.  I egded the panel with the same ink.  I stamped Lost Coast Designs Pokey Cat on the card panel and then on white card using archival sepia ink.  I water coloured the cat with rusty hinge distress ink and blue gel pen and fussy cut.  The sentiment is Carmen's Veranda Ask For Directions sentiment.

Just Citrus

Hello Nomad friends.  I am over at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity today with some more Lemon and Lime inspiration.  This month we are asking you to pick a colour scheme between Lemon and Lime or Turquoise and Terracotta.   The choice is yours!  Your anything should feature mostly your two chosen colours and don't forget to stamp.

I've kept it simple and used the lovely Jester Square by Carmen's Veranda coloured with green and yellow distress watercolouring.  I stamped the Happy Birthday and Do I smell cake? from Lost Coast Designs Party Words using Prickly Pear archival ink.
