Simple, Bold and Snake!!!!

Hello Nomad friends.  I know many people don't like snakes, so please look away now.

For all you brave souls and ophiophiles, this one is pretty adorable.

I stamped the Hero Arts Happy Birthday on the yellow panel and embossed with Simon Says Stamp Circle Hoops embossing folder.   I die cut the Provocraft snake and Papirdesign postage stamp  from scraps og card and layered them up for a bold expression of colours.

Falling Off The Christmas Wagon

Hello Nomad friends.   Whilst digging out my angel earlier I also spotted this hare die.  Bunnies and hares have a special place in my heart and I decided to go masculine and plaid and make a birthday card tag combo.

The grey plaid card is from Card Creations, and yes, it's that old!!!   But isn't it pretty.  I cut the sizzix hare from ex-beer box kraft and the moon is blue glitter card.  I used Stamplorations Luggage Tag die.

I was going for a standard 10cm x 15cm card, but mini-slimline seem to suit better.   Small is beautiful.

Angelic Giving

Hello Nomad friends

I've made a few tags this afternoon using scraps and dies

I used thin corrugated cardboard from the inside of the cat food box cut with a sizzix tag die and the sizzix angel was cut from a box that came bearing beer!!!   It was looking all environmentally friendly but couldn't resist adding a blue glitter layer cut with a studio light die.  A little stamped God Jul and a bit of twine and good to go.

So good I decided to make it a trio.

Three Little Pigz

Hello Nomad friends.  I'm back!!!!   Did you miss me??   I had a lovely break in the UK with my family.  The journey home was a challenge, but I made it, 20 hours late, and I am so glad to be back.  Today I played with a new fold and this set of cute xmas pigs from Hero Arts that fell in to my bag and followed me home.

I used Hero Arts Sending Warm Hogs stamps for the pigs, which were stamped on a scrap of pink card, coloured and fussy cut.  The snowflakes and the sentiment are from the same set.

I used a scrap of ex-packaging for my kraft panel and a few snippets of pink for a broken layer behind it.  The two sentiments were stamped on offcuts from the sheet I used for the card base.

Three Wise Gnomes

Hello Nomad friends.  I am over at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity today with some simple inspiration for the Festive Fun Challenge, anything stamped with a Christmas theme.  It's a busy time of year so I think it's nice to be able to stamp a quick make.

I stamped Lost Coast Designs 3 Gnomes on a white card base and coloured with water colour pencils.  I stamped Lost Coast Designs Reindeer Gnome on white card, coloured him and fussy cut.  I stuck him over the middle gnome and stamped the Happy Christmas sentiment.  I used a fancy sizzix die to cut the base card for some added some interest.

You have all month to join the fun and share your stamped anythings with a Christmas theme.  Real rubber or clear stamping and the theme must be the focus of your project. The team are sharing awesome inspiration all month so do hop over to see all their amazing projects.

Hello Nomad friends.  Happy Monday.  I have made an ATC using scraps from my weekend makes and some clip out images.

Isn't she adorable!  The atc and background scraps are from Scrap and Me Somewhere Else papers and the angel and fancy star are cut from the Christmas 10 image sheet.

Aloha

Hello Nomad friends.  I appear to have missed the start of a new month LOL.  Yesterday I had my traditional autumn thanks giving party.  I started this the first year I was in Norway when I realised how thankful I was for being here in this beautiful place, for food grown in the garden, for family and friends.  So I invite everyone and make a big pot of food, my Norwegian sisters and mother make amazing cakes, for which I am very thankful yum yum, and a fun time is had by all.

But now...it's the second of the month and time for the Card Chain Challenge Reveal.  My card this month went to Joanne in Connecticut.

I went with the sketch and the options of  trees and friendship.

I used some yellow scraps for the 'island' and text panel.  The trees are sizzix dies also cut from green and brown scraps.  I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the Papernest Doll stamp.  Isn't she cute, and that weird coloured rooster.

I received a wonderful card from Gail in Canada ðŸ¥° Thanks Gail

If you would like to see all the cards that were sent this month hop over and check out the REVEAL

If you would like to join the fun the November SIGN UP is open until the 6th
