Merry Christmas with Hart

Hello Nomad friends.  Trying a bit of white on white today.  Quite pleased with how this came out.   I used a gemini modern hearts embossing folder on the background panel to give some texture and lots of sizzix dies and sentiment from Papirdesigns.

I am so not ready for Christmas but this was a fun card to make and I do have cookie dough ready.....

Simply Christmas

Hello Nomad friends.  I was inspired by Iwona at Endless Passion to make this CAS card with a image from Lexi Crafts Loft Christmas.

I used some white strips and my scoreboard for the lined pieces and die cut a white heart from another scrap.  I cut the couple from the Lexi Design papers and stamped sentiments from Penny Black.

New Gnome Home

Hello gNomad friends.  I'm over on the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity today with a card for the Gnome-vember Challenge. We want to see all your stamped makes featuring gnomes.  Lost Coast Designs have a awesome selection of the cutest gnomes, now available in large and mini sizes.  I've used Viking Gnome with mini Stone House and a Large Shrubbery background.

I stamped Viking Gnome and mini Stone House on white card, masked and stamped the Shrubbery with green ink.  I cut the panel with Marianne Designs large postage stamp die.   I used a yellow base card smeared with green ink and also edged the white panel with the same inks.  I used some words from Misc. Words to make the sentiment.

Thanks for the Coffee

Hello Nomad friends.   I recently acquired a beautiful leafy frame die from Poppystamps and this cute Memory Box coffee cup.  They seemed to work quite well together.

I used some Lexi Design autumnal patterned paper and cut Poppystamps Harvest Oval Frame three times from white card and layered them together.   I cut Poppystamps Thanks die into the patterned paper layer and mounted on a white card base.  I cut Memory Box Cuppa Love outline from black card and the solid pieces from holographic mirror card.

Little Boxes

Hello Nomad friends.  I am returned from my travels.  Busy, busy, busy now because the silly season is just around the corner.  Today I decorated some matchboxes to add to some candle gift packs I intend to make.   Always nice to have a little gift on hand.  I've used Lexi Design Loft Christmas papers and some flat bottle caps that say Merry Christmas in Norwegian.

I cut the papers to take best advantage of the pretty designs and wrapped them around three sides to resemble small books whilst leaving a striker side open.  A bit of twine and a copper handle to finish.

Elfing Out for November

Hello Nomad friends.  I'm elfing out over at the Christmas Kickstart Challenge this month and the November theme is Wise Men Three.  Can't wait to see all your kings.  I've used a beautiful stamp from Penny Black and made a scrappy background.

I used a yellow card base, two pieces of texture scraps and one piece of orange scrap.  I used a knife to give a wavy edge to the textured pieces and to wavy cut the orange piece in two and arranged them on the card base.  I stamped Penny Black Three Kings, coloured and fussy cut.  The sentiment was stamped on a scrap of yellow card.

Hop over to the blog and check out Jo's awesome makes and grab your kings and join the fun.

The Morning After The Day Before

Hello Nomad friends. It's Gnome-Vember!!!!   Over at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity it's everything Gnome this month.  Lost Coast Designs has some awesome GNOME stamps.  You need at least one, but why stop there LOL.

I've used Gnome Witch On Broom, Looking Up and large Shrubbery for my morning after scene.

Obviously the party dragged on and the little witch is a bit late getting home, much to the surprize of the local residents.

Not Lost In Transylvania

Hello Nomad friends.  It's the second of the month and time for the Card Chain Challenge Reveal.  Make a card, send a card, get a card.   Everyone gets a card.  Everyone's a winner.  And at the moment the Card Chain Challenge is being sponsored by Relatively Thoughtful so somebody is gonna be extra lucky.....

We have just celebrated 15 years of the Card Chain Challenge.  15 years of sending love around the planet one card at a time.  The birthday present winners have been announced so don't forget to check that post too.

This month is a bit of a mirror deja vu for me as my sender and recipient are the same as when I first joined up, but round the other way.  I got a lovely card from Greta in Oregan.  My card went to Jo in the UK and I used the options of Bear, Friendship and Transylvanian.

Transylvania means literally "through the woods" or "beyond the woods"

I made a green distress ink smoochy background and stamped Lost Coast Designs Tall Trees with London Fog ink.  The sentiment is by Carmen's Veranda, as are the two words I used on the Cheery Lynn die cut sign.  The grass is Mama Elephant die and the bear is sizzix.  I stamped the bear's face with a Pink and Main stamp.  The bear and the sign and the grass were all made from scraps from the brown box.
