Unicorn Farts

Hello.  Welcome.  It's the 2nd of the month and time for the October Card Chain Challenge Reveal.
In case you don't know the Card Chain Challenge is an international card exchange.  You make a card, send a card and get a card.  Everyone gets a card.  Everyone wins!!!   The November sign up is open until the 6th October.  This will be the last exchange this year so if you fancy giving it a try then hop over and sign up now!!!
Here's the card I sent to Chris in Illinois.

I used the sketch and unicorn options.  The unicorn is a Gummiapan stamp and the sentiment, which seemed to suit him perfectly, is from Carmen's Veranda.  Rainbow and very cute flower clouds are new stamps from Rubber Dance In The Air and What a Girl Wants sets coloured with Promarkers.    I used some coloured glitter glue to add a little extra magic to the unicorn.

Thanks for dropping by.  Do hop over and check out all the amazing cards that whizzed around the planet this month and sign up if you want to join the fun.  Hugz

Wot No Beer

Hello Nomad friends.  Welcome.
It's November and time for skulls and flowers.   If you can't bear to pack away your spooktacular stamps then hop over to the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity where we are kicking of the month with our Day of the Dead celebration.  It's not a holiday we celebrate here in Norway, so I usually just think sugar skulls and flowers with the odd beer thrown in to help the party along.

This card actually started with the black piece in the middle.  It was a negative cut from inside a heart wreath die and had a wiggly edge.  I decided to die cut some Sizzix bats into it and then smeared with SugarCube white ink.  I stamped, coloured and fussy cut Lost Coast Designs white nose skull from the Three Skulls set and added it to the middle of the card.  I decided it needed flowers so I grabbed some scraps, smeared various distress oxide colours on them and stamped with Lost Coast Designs Sketchy Rose stamp.  I fussy cut the roses and arranged them in an artistically pleasing manner around the edge of the card.  Done!!

And not a beer in sight......   Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

Trick and Treat Advice - 31 Days of Halloween Day 31

Merry met spooktacular friends.  Here we are with the the final minutes of October.  Tonight's make isn't so spooky, but this sentiment cracks me up and I think it's wonderful advice, especially if you are out and about this evening when the veil is so thin.

I used three Blue Knight stamp sets for this card; Motherhood, Dragon Sentiments and Window in the Wall.  I stamped Window in the Wall on subtly patterned card using Watering Can archival ink.  I turned over the card to use the subtle dotty swirl pattern and stamped the sentiment and the girl from the Motherhood set.  I had to mask off her arm, because in the original stamp she has it raised above her head.  So I masked it, stamped her, stamped her arm separately, fussy cut her and the arm and put it back on by her side.  A pretty good adjustment.

Merry met daylight walkers.  Here's a spooky tag using Colourcraft Aztec paints and die cuts.

The pictures don't do it justice.  The background looks like shot silk.  Hop over to the Colourcraft blog for all the details.  I used blue, purple, charcoal and gold Aztec Paint and various Sizzix dies.  The tag was cut with Gummianpan large Old Tag die.
