Merry Christmas Tree

Hello Nomad friends.  We are starting a new challenge at Let's Squash It! today and the theme is Christmas Cards which include the use of embossing folders.  Easy peasy challenge!  I used Hobby Solutions Merry Christmas folder which is this lovely tree shape and gold textured card from Do-crafts.

I added a bright gold border and mounted it on a square linen texture cream card.  I thought the embossed panel looked a little bare so I die cut some stars from the same textured gold card and scattered them in an ascetically pleasing manner.

I hope you have time to join the Let's Squash It fun.  Hop over to the blog and check out the lovely inspiration from Jo and our fabulous guest.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

The stars look like they’re part of the folder design Gail so they were obviously meant to be there — gorgeous card, love the different golds!

That embossing looks so special on the gold textured card and a bonus is that it photographs better than the shiny stuff xx
