Hello Nomad friends. It's the 2nd of the month so time for the Card Chain Challenge Reveal. 34 awesome card makers this month. We send love around the world one card at a time. You make a card, you send a card, you get a card. Everyone gets a card, everyone's a winner. This month my card went to Suze in New Zealand.
There are always lots of options to choose from each month and this time I used the colours, Charcoal, Lime and Bumblebee (exact matching not required), Wild and Slimline. The giraffe is a sizzix colorize die and once I got the two largest pieces cut I delved into the scraps. The sun is a really old fat red sizzix die cut from a scrap of crocodile paper and a bit of yellow. The grass was a ex-packaging box I sprayed with gold paint and then cut with Mama Elephant Grass die. The little Hi speech bubble is a stamp and die from Time 4 Tea, all mounted on a textured white slimline base.
Hop over to the blog for the whole REVEAL.

You work magic with those colorize dies, Gail - just love your tall giraffe with the cute sun!! Great details on your scene too - well done!!
Those Colorize dies produce some great effects but you really must have the patience of a saint for all those fiddly bits! Love the slimline as a base for a giraffe, perfect combination!
Looks fiddly to use those dies but I love the outcome of your patience! It really is a fun, cheerful design.
She looks so lovely!! Very beautiful card!!
What a super card this is Gail - So, slimline cards and giraffes really are perfect partnership and you've sown so well! Love it!

What a lovely happy feel this card has. I can feel the heat from that sun and your quirky Giraffe is great fun xx
A really great card and a little unusual (in a good way!).
Thanks for playing in the Snippets Playground. I hope you enjoyed the May Day celebrations. xxx
This is super cute, Gail. I think there are many die cuts to create the giraffe but the result is just great.
