Hello Nomad friends. Easter is coming!! I have my doubts about Spring at the moment, but Easter is a certainty, although it always confuses me!! If Jesus was born on the 25th December every year how come the day of his death can be anywhen from mid-March to mid-April? Wouldn't it be easier for everyone if they just picked a day?? They seem to be very good at picking a day for so many things......
Anyway, I made a basket of eggs card using Paper Rose products. Love this Australian company. They have so many unique and lovely designs. I have a modest stash of their products and decided to use the Circlet Layered Background 1 die to make the basket shape.
I cut Paper Rose Circlet Layered Background 1 die from green bazzill bling card and paper pieced the negative cuts back in after cutting away parts of the circlet die to make the basket shape. The bazzill bling had a nice contrast between the front and back colour so very little waste here today! I used sheets from Paper Rose Easter Sunday 6 x 6 paper collection for the background pieces and the eggs and Happy Easter were fussy cut from other sheets in the collection. Adorbs.
In case you are interested this is the circlet die I used.
Thanks for dropping by. Take care. Hugz

What a fab use of that die, it makes a great basket! My Paper Rose Stitched Rectangle dies are probably the most used dies in my stash — proper ISO standard sizes, yay!
Flott kort og kreativ bruk av dies.
Takk for at du deltar hos Scrappelyst.
