Hello. Welcome. I was lucky enough to win a challenge at the Mod Squad Challenge and got a voucher for Power Poppy stamps. Must admit, this was a new company for me. Marcella has some lovely images, reasonable international postage and great service. I was at a party last night and wanted to take a hostess gift, so I put together a mini pizza box for a necklace I had made.
The tag is from Power Poppy Short Stacks set. The teapot actually had tulips in it so I masked them off and added a very badly drawn lid!! Well, that's why I buy stamps isn't it??!! I coloured with promarkers and added some silver sharpie dots. I wanted it to look wintery.
I made my box by cutting some christmas papers 10 x 18cm. I cut a notch using a Fuzzy Lemon baby rattle die, folded and edged with Barn Door distress ink.
I used a bit of silver twine to seal the box and tied the gift tag to it as well. Slight mistake with the colouring resulted in strawberry cream, but since the recipient likes pink I am sure this will be overlooked.
Thanks for dropping by. Hugz
