Behind the Blue Door

Hello Nomad friends and welcome to August!!  First of the month so lots of bright and shiny new challenges to play along with.  At the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity we have chosen Children this month.  Link up your stamped anythings with children images or for children.  I went with a door on a door shaped card and a very cute stamp from Carmen's Veranda called Kukla
Coulrophobes look away now!!!!

I was reaching for my rectangle dies when I had a 'I don't want to be square' moment.  I grabbed my Daisy Mae arch dies and cut a piece of packaging to get that lovely kraft panel.  Think it says half a chicken with basil and rosemary, sous vide on the back bwahhhaaaaa.   I cut a white matching stitched nibbled panel, stamped Carmen's Veranda Small Door and coloured with distress markers.  I used a scrap of yellow card, stamped the bottom of the door along the edge and fussy cut it.  I stamped the yellow with Lost Coast Designs Flagstone Background, trimmed the edges to a 'path shape' and inked them black.  Kukla was stamped on a white card and I used a scrap of the kraft behind before fussy cutting so I could pop him up a bit.  I used two sentiments from Lost Coast Designs Party Words set, stamped on scraps and snipped out.

Hope you get time to join us and don't forget to hop over and check out all the awesome makes from the team.  Tomorrow will be the official new team announcement!!   So exciting to have some awesome new designers.  Take care.  Have a great day.  I hope there will be cake!!  Hugz
