Green Eyed Cat

October Card Chain Challenge sign up

Hello.  Welcome.  So I had fun with my twine wrapped block, and since it was all good to go I decided to play again.  So I inked it up with Scattered Straw distress, but of course, blue plus yellow equals green!!  It looked like bamboo stems.  Well, a little bit like bamboo stems, so bring on the tiger.....

I stamped MFP Tiger, masked him and the edge of the panel and stamped the background.  Then I cut with the stitched rectangle die, but it was a bit subtle so I decided to doodle a border.  The tiger is coloured with distress ink and the happy birthday is from the same set.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

  2. Your tiger looks calm and happy! I just watched Jungle Book and yours is no grumpy Sher Khan, that's for sure. I really like how you tilt the blocks to get your background. Happy you joined us at Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge for Stamp It! xx Maura

  5. Great idea to morph the green background into bamboo. I buy that! I think your doodled edges look awesome too.
