Yesterday I was visiting Trisha Too and was intrigued by a challenge she has set. An extreme CAS challenge.
ONE stamp,
stamped ONE time.
ONE color ink.
White paper
Uhhh, wow, that is extreme. Now I like CAS and often describe my style as simple, but rarely clean *messy crafter at work* So this extreme CAS idea has been dinging around my head all day and since it's Friends With Flair today I dug out my Unity Stamps and my Docrafts Chocolate pigment ink pad and went extreme......
Unity Stamp First Love Card size 15 x 10cm |
I made a CAS card with this stamp and one other last week. I think it works well here
Unity Stamp Big Time Special Card size 19 x 11cm |
This is a lovely big stamp. The challenge with this technique is deciding where to place your single stamp image. Once you've chosen your stamp that is.......
Unity Stamp Wondrous Card size 19 x 11cm |
I like this. I wondered what it would look like on a smaller card with her hair falling off the bottom...
Unity Stamp Wondrous Card size 9.5 x 11cm |
It looks like this. And I had the other half card so......
Unity Stamp Tinsel in a Tangle Card size 9.5 x 11cm |
He's so cute. He comes with a sentiment but in the spirit of extreme CAS that must remain unused.
You know, once I got started I could have gone on and on. What fun. Do check out Trisha Too's blog for this challenge and also ATC's around the world. She is trying to send an ATC to every country in the world. See if you can help her out with an address. I've got mine!!!

ReplyDeletegreat cards bibiana
ReplyDeleteOH... very extreme. I would probably find myself stamping once in white paper, but then cutting the image and putting it over some color... LOL... But this is great. This also demonstrates how Unity Stamps can be just great by themselves. TFS
ReplyDeleteGreat challenge, Gail. CAS is not always easy. Lovely placement of the images for a great effect.
ReplyDeleteThese are all absolutely adorable! It really puts the focus on the stamp, doesn't it? Thank you so much for taking the EXTREME challenge!

Wow! I think I would've had a heart attack if I was limited to one stamp in one color stamped once on white paper! But you pulled it off nicely! I really liked the images you chose and it was interesting to see where you decided to place the images. And I enjoyed seeing your experiments with different placement and different stamps. This definitely shows your skills as an artist-- to make something so simple look so great! Well done and I'm glad you shared these with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your lovely comments. Hugz
