Hip Hippo Ray

Hello.  Welcome.  I was working on an arrangement for this cool hippo and two of the sentiments from Ocean Heart Hobby's 004 stamp set when I came across a fun sketch on the MFT blog.  Perfect!!!

I stamped the two sentiments on a scrap of patterned paper and cut them with Sizzix Postage Stamp dies.  Aren't those fonts cool.  The one on the left says one can never laugh or smile too much and the one on the right says Happy Birthday.  The hippo??  Well, he's not saying much LOL.  I coloured some card with red and yellow Brusho's and then I added some Pink Aztec Paint splatts.  I cut this with the postage stamp dies as well and matted the sentiments.  Hippo was stamped on white card, fussy cut and coloured with distress markers.  I stamped Rubber Dance's Grungy Border using Dandelion archival ink and stood the hippo on it.  A few hearts cut using CC Designs Stitched Heart die and done!!

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz
