Whoo Waits For Dinner - 31 Days Of Halloween Day 4

Merry met crafty friends.  Beware the eyes in the night.  Some are waiting to dine and some are destined to be dined upon.  Whoo Whoo.

I'm not sure this picture does the owl justice.  He is absolutely stunning in the real!!!

I cut a tag using large Sizzix Tag 2 from red card and embossed it with Sheena Douglas Tangled Vine embossing folder.  Then I used Black Soot distress ink to highlight the texture.  It was very nice, but a bit too dark for the owl so I spritzed with water and removed some  of the ink.

The owl is Tim Holtz Ornate Owl die.  I cut it once from a piece of scrap card and once from a scrap of stamped card I found in my scraps box.  Then I used Emerald Creek Deep Sea and Gold Sparkle embossing powders.  That gold is amazing!!!   It's like the real thing!!!!   I used some brown card and cut the tree, and paper pieced his feet, beak and facial details.  I finished with a couple of red rhinestones for his eyes.

I popped him up on some thick pop dot waste (we don't throw nuffink away here kids!!) and added some recycled sari?!! ribbon and an Emerald Creek very cool brad.

Thanks for dropping by.  Back soon for world card making day.  See you there!!!  Hugz

    1. They must have been really small ghosts cos I thought they usually have a bed sheet each. Glad I'm not the only one who keeps stuff for what it can be rather than what it is LOL. Hugz
