Granny in Bearclaw Slippers

Hello Nomad friends.  Happy 1st of May!!  Hope your world is a happy place today.  1st of the month, so time for a new challenge at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity, and we are playing I-Spy.  We want to see stamped makes featuring things beginning with B.  Here's mine......


Bwahahhahaaaahaa!!  It's my new favourite sentiment again, and if you'd like a chance to win it keep reading..........


I started by cutting a base card with a double stitch rectangle die and stamped Lost Coast Designs Party On.  She is one of a number of new stamps on the website.  Such a cool granny.  I masked her and stamped the large Circle Shadow Frame.  There is a whole set of stamps in this style and they make adding a coloured area so easy.  They are also more tips for using these on the website.  I used Salty Ocean distress oxide for that Turquoise look.  Hey, check out how the circle stamp looked after I stamped it.  The paper absorbed the ink more than the mask.  I couldn't waste that could I????


Shadow effect granny!!   Will have to think of some way to use this later........


I removed the mask and coloured Party On with distress inks and gel pens.  Then I stamped Carmen's Veranda Hot and Sexy Birthday sentiment.

    Such a fun card! I love that circle shadow frame. It would really help me as I'm not too good with just my ink pad and sponge. I would love a chance to win and I see the color blue, bathrobe, buttons, bracelet and balloons. :)
