Birthday Coffee

Hello Nomad friends.  Just needed a quick birthday card for a cat and coffee loving friend so La La Land's Morning Coffee Molli fitted perfectly.

I folded the patterned paper base and stamped Molli onto it with black archival.  I coloured with Promarkers and used a pale paint pen for her skin to cover up the pattern.  Oops, missed her hands!!  Never mind, they stamped quite nicely over that pink highlight on the paper.  Don't you love serendipity!  I found this lovely metal embellishment from Korthobby.no with the word Gratulerer (congratulations in Norwegian) which is used for all sorts of special days, especially birthdays.  I added some polka dot ribbon, cos polka dots are always fun and the green make me think of spring.

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz
