Lime Green Bears

Hello Nomad friends.
I was just having a discussion with my friend Dotty Jo.

Me: Hey Jo, do lime green bears qualify as xmas woodland creatures??

Jo: Lime green bears are frequently seen in woodlands.

Me:  Uhhhhh.......

Interesting woods Jo has.  I'm sure that lime green bears are rarely seen due to practicing advanced camouflage techniques handed down from generation to generation.

All this before midnight......

In the end I went with your standard white bears just to make sure that people realise this is a christmas tag.

I've used the beautiful colours of the Winnie and Walter challenge.  I cut pink and green card with the largest round tag die in the Carly Cutaway set.  I stamped the pink layer with the woodgrain stamp from W&W Scenery Into the Woods using Picked Raspberry distress ink.  I used a brush to wet the edge of the green layer and plucked bits away to give the ragged edge.  I cut the pale purple circle and used the same wood grain stamp and Wilted Violet distress ink.  I cut a scrap of white card with the Carly Cutaway die and also a stitched landscape die.  I stamped the bears from W&W Big Hugz set on another white scrap and fussy cut.
I'm thinking it looks a bit Northern Lights.......

Thanks for dropping by.  Hugz

  1. Well.....I for one would love to have seen the lime green bears that must frequent Jo's neck of the UK woods....(ahem)!!! lol.. We only have the standard brownish-black ones here and I rarely see them.

Love your pretty take on the challenge palette here, Gail. The tag dies in the different hues does suggest Northern Lights. I am guessing you see those a lot where you live. The equinoxes are great times of year for them, too, if I recall correctly. Your polar bears are perfect for this lovely tag.
